Spring Refund and Withdrawal Dates
Once registered for a course, a student is expected to attend classes according to the schedule assigned. If a student finds it necessary to drop a course, add a course or change from one course or section to another, the Add/Drop/Total Withdrawal Form must be completed and submitted. Failure to do so may result in failing grades or loss of credit. A student may add or change from one course to another only during the add/drop period. Preferred/Chosen Name
LCCC recognizes that students may use first names other than their legal first names to identify themselves. By selecting a preferred/chosen first name, the individual is agreeing to be referred to by this first name in college-related systems (i.e. Banner, Canvas and DegreeWorks) and documents as well as email communications, interactions and any processes in which names are used to address an individual, except when the use of the legal name is required by law or the college. Students can request to change their preferred first name in Self-Service BannerWeb on the MyLCCC Portal. Detailed instructions are available on the IT Knowledgebase. To the extent possible, changes will be reflected across LCCC systems within 48 hours after submission. A preferred/chosen first name is not a nickname or a legal name change. Students who are legally changing their name should follow the instructions here. Student FAQs can be found here.
