A word from Art

Sermon Title: Baptism

Scripture: Romans 6:1-7

You’ve likely heard the good news before, but it’s always worth repeating: Faith in Jesus gives us brand-new life. The big question is: How do we express that faith?

According to Scripture, we express that faith, for starters, in baptism. In Acts 22, Saul/Paul recounts his encounter with Jesus. He is blinded and told to go see a man named Ananias. Ananias tells Paul his next steps in placing his faith in Jesus. In Acts 22:16, Ananias says: "And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name." This Sunday, we will look at the importance of baptism and how it expresses our faith and our repentance.

Join the Wellness Ministry Volunteer Drivers Team!

Our mission is to help people overcome life’s challenges and draw closer to God—and sometimes, that starts with a lift. We are currently looking for volunteer drivers to help provide transportation for:

• Sunday morning church services.
• Medical visits & occasional appointments.

Whether you can help once a month or every week, your time will directly impact someone in need.

Contact Wendy Williams: Call 770-783-1035 (the church) or reach out by email today to lend a hand!
