The Parable of the Mustard Seed
Scripture: Luke 13:18-21

In Luke 13, Jesus describes the Kingdom of God to his audience. One would think that Jesus would choose huge, monolithic type structures or some type of glorious ornate objects to capture the essence of the Kingdom of God. However, Jesus chooses two of the smallest items to describe the power of God's Kingdom, the mustard seed and yeast. This Sunday, we will attempt to decipher why Jesus chose these two tiny objects to describe the power of God.

We're still online this week
Our hopes had been to return to in-person services this week at Parkview High School, but for the time being the school remains closed.

So, our worship service will remain online for the near future.

At the moment, we hope to resume in-person services on Sunday, Aug. 2. However, we are consulting with Parkview on a weekly basis, so please know this date could change as well.

If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to MC3 administrator Jim Barber by email or at 770-783-2737.
The Parable of the Mustard Seed

This week’s adventure encourages children that Jesus values their faith, no matter how big or small. It will help your children understand that God wants to grow their faith wildly, and that He will use that faith to build and grow His Kingdom.

If a tiny mustard seed can grow into a tree that houses birds, just think what God can do with the faith in the hearts of you and your kids.

The Skit Guys

While The Bedtime Bible Stories with The Skit Guys are complete for this season, you can access any and all episodes by clicking on the MC3 Kids web page . The Bible stories can be accessed at the very top of the page. There are 51 episodes so you can select ones you may have missed or others you want to see again. They are funny and silly and great! They are great at bedtime or a great way to begin your day!

One more week:  The first child who emails me with the scripture that says God laughs and tells me what God laughs at will win a prize!

Angel Whispers ...

The grandmother and her 4-year-old grandson were taking a walk through her garden and, as grandmothers do, she was pointing out all the things that God Himself had made. The bright-eyed little grandson said, “I know, Nanie. Just think and He did it left-handed! “ “What do you mean left-handed?" “Well, you told me Jesus was sitting on God’s right hand!”  Thanks, Robbie!
Rocky Railway Online VBS - Congrats, Ava Davis
Ava Davis was the only MC3 child who had perfect attendance, memorized her Bible Verses and learned the Bible Points during our recent Vacation Bible School. She is pictured here with her brother, A.J., and her prize of a gigantic Bubble Wand to make bubbles four feet long! Fun!
A big thanks to Cameron Dees
MC3 Students wants to say a huge "Thank You" to Cameron Dees for his service as the student ministry intern for the past four years! Cameron has been a huge asset to the ministry. He has contributed to the lives of so many of our students and has been the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you, Cam."
