Sermon Title: Jesus Is the Light of the World

Scripture: John 1:1-13

This Sunday, we wrap up our Christmas series in the book of John. John begins his witness account differently than the other three Gospels. He introduces Jesus as the "Word" and the "Light." Why did John use the illustration of light? What was the intention behind his words in the first chapter?
