A word from Art
This week: Freedom in Worship
Scripture: Matthew 4:8-10

"Be careful little eyes what you see" is a popular line in a song that I used to sing in Children's Church. But it is more than a line in a song; it is valuable advice, because all of us will be tempted by the lust of the eyes. This Sunday, we will watch as Satan tempts Jesus by showing Him "all the kingdoms of the world." Just bow down and worship me, Satan said to Jesus, and it will all be yours. What we will discover is that worshipping anything or anyone other than Jesus will leave us, much like Satan, bound up in sin. Join us Sunday as we explore the freedom that we can have when we worship God.
Bring your favorite dessertMay we suggest homemade ice cream!
We are super excited about this Sunday's time of fellowship following our worship.

You can see most of the details in the image above but please know the church will be providing the food and we're asking you to bring desserts! Specifically, if you could make a churn of homemade ice cream, that would be AWESOME! Just let Jim Barber know at if you can bring a churn of ice cream with you.

In addition to your great desserts, the church will provide fried chicken and all the fixin's. See you Sunday after church in Lilburn City Park!
Kingdom Kids
God protects Moses
Worship Theme: God Watches Over Us.
Weaving Faith into Life: Children will worship God for His loving care through every situation in their lives.
For each of us, life has its ups and downs, ins and outs, good times and bad. As Christians, we learn thatthrough it allGod is all-loving and all-powerful. He watches over us to help us, guide us and protect us. The Israelites learned that God watched over Moses and guided his life in order to bring deliverance through him to the people.
We want this session to help children realize that God watches over us all the time, day or night. We want to lead them in worshipping a God who loves us so much that He knows everything about us, from the number of hairs on our heads to how many times our hearts will beat in a lifetime. His love and care are constant and complete as He watches over us. That’s a reason to worship Him.
