This Sunday (1/13/19) My Spirituality
Scripture: Luke 18:18-30
So what is religion or spirituality all about? Why is it important? And where does Jesus factor in to this equation?

This Sunday we will unpack the story of a young man who was in search of answers to these questions. However, the most interesting part of the story occurs when the young man discovers the answer isn't found in himself and walks away sad.

We will learn that "my" spirituality doesn't depend on me, but it hinges upon Jesus.
Church in a trailer: MC3's first Sunday at Parkview is one for the books

Set-up began Saturday night and we held our first Sunday worship service yesterday at Parkview High School.

Thanks to the amazing volunteers who helped us set up and tear down. It was a blessed day of worship and we're looking forward to see where the Lord will lead us in this next phase of serving and building His Kingdom.

Just a reminder: We need volunteers this week as well. Please plan to meet at 8 a.m. in the Parkview auditorium if you can assist us with set-up.
Updated registration cards needed for all MC3 Kids
As part of our move to Parkview High School, we need to update registration cards for all MC3 Kids.

We will begin this process Sunday, but you can save considerable time by taking a few moments right now to re-register your child using our online form.

We regret that we need to ask you to complete a separate registration for each of your children.

If you have questions, please contact Jim Barber at 404-268-6981.
Leaders, hosts needed for C-Groups
With the relocation of our worship service to Parkview High School, C-Groups will take front-and-center-stage in our efforts to learn more about God's word and do life together.

We are currently signing up hosts and facilitators for our winter-spring C-Groups. Among others, senior minister Art Stansberry will host a C-Group and Jim and Becky Barber will host a New Beginnings C-Group.

If you are willing to host or lead a C-Group, please contact Jim immediately by email or at 404-268-6981.

MC3 Students start out 2019 in Will and Helena's Livin Room
MC3 Students had their first Livin Room last night and it was a huge success!

"We studied the fruit of the Spirit and what God thinks is possible for each of us this year," said student minister Will Tyler. "We challenged each student to pick one of the fruits of the Spirit to work on this week. It was a powerful night of worship, Word and fellowship."
MC3 to visit Christian City Jan. 20
It's time for MC3's annual visit to Christian City, which will happen Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m.

We will fellowship, sing and praise the Lord with the residents there.

We need ALL types of volunteers, including those to sit with the residents, help them come down to their sanctuary from their rooms, pass out communion and, of course, worship!

If you can join us, please email Art Stansberry and let him know as soon as possible. We're hoping for a great turnout to support one of our longtime mission partners.
