THIS WEEK @ MC3
October 28, 2019
New sermon series begins this week
Sermon Series: Gleanings from Ruth
Sermon Title: God's Grace
Scripture:  Ruth 1

This Sunday, we will begin to unpack the book of Ruth. We will discover that despite making poor decisions and having to endure the consequences, Ruth and Naomi enjoyed the incredible grace of God. This same grace is available to us today. So join us Sunday as we begin our study of Ruth.

(Backwards Day!)

To commemorate the time change this weekend, our children are celebrating Backwards Day. So wear your clothes backward!
Join our First Friday C-Group
You are invited to join MC3's First Friday C-Group, which meets on the first Friday of each month, usually at the home of David and Jean Bugg in Stone Mountain. The next meeting will take place this Friday, Nov. 1, at 6:30 p.m.

First Friday formed among a group of MC3 members who attended the New Beginnings class. They meet faithfully each month for food, fellowship and to share God's Word. The First Friday C-Group includes both couples and single adults, and everyone is welcome to attend. If you are interested, please email or call Jean Bugg at 404-444-7779 (cell) or 470-440-5138 (home).

New Elective Bible study begins Sunday at Parkview
Journey With John —MC3's latest Sunday morning elective begins this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Parkview High School theater lobby.

Read Chapters 1-2 this week and come prepared to share your favorite piece of Scripture from the reading. Please use the SOAP method to facilitate your study of the passage.

We are using the Sunday morning elective to read through the Four Gospels. So far, our studies have included Meeting Matthew, On The Mark and Learning With Luke!
FallFest 2019: Thanks for the memories
FallFest 2019 proved to be a rousing success! The good Lord granted us favor with the weather, and our MC3 Church family turned out in droves to ensure we put our best foot forward for the community. Approximately 250 to 300 children participated in the activities, in addition to their parents, friends and family who came with them.

Art said it yesterday, but we'll say it again: "Thank you church family for the passion you brought to this event and for being the hands and feet of Christ in our community."

See a few of the many great pictures below. In addition, check out these two Facebook links for more pictures from the event.
