Sermon Title: Jesus Is the Son of God

Scripture: Mark 1:1

While Mark doesn't have the traditional "Christmas" story highlighting Jesus' birth, Mark does offer the perfect portrait of Jesus as the Son of God. Mark lays out this fact from the opening words of his book: "The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God." No dramatic journey of the Magi, no heavenly host singing, no quintessential manger scene—just an announcement that the Son of God, the Messiah, has arrived. Join us Sunday as we focus on Jesus as God in the flesh—Immanuel, God with us.

MC3’s Jingle Jangle Christmas Celebration

Get ready for a joyful evening at MC3’s Jingle Jangle on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m.

Jingle Jangle will showcase our kids, a festive play, a special “boy band” performance, and plenty of delicious appetizers and desserts!

We are still welcoming children who would like a part in the program, as well as adults who would like to help. If you’re interested, please contact Christy Stansberry at cpstansberry@gmail.com.

Practice Schedule – Wednesday, Dec. 17

Pizza Fellowship: 6 p.m. (open to all participating families)
Kids’ Practice: 6:30 p.m.
Adult Practice: 7 p.m.

Program Day – Sunday, Dec 21

Adults in the Program Arrive: 4:30 p.m.
Kids in the Program Arrive: 5 p.m
Program Begins: 6 p.m.

Help families in need this Christmas

Sunday, Dec. 14, is the deadline to provide toys and food for Lilburn Cooperative Ministry.

Grab a wish bell from our Christmas tree at the church and help make Christmas brighter for those struggling in our community. Bring your donations to the church or drop them off directly at the co-op offices located at 5329 Five Forks Trickum Rd SW, Lilburn.
