God makes himself known in unexpected places
Sermon Title: A Jail
Scripture:  Acts 16:16-40 This Sunday we have an extra special treat as Will Tyler, our Student Minister, will join me on stage. We will be preaching from Acts 16 where God makes Himself known in of all places, a prison! We will discover that faith, hope and love can shine in the most depressing places. So join us this Sunday for an exciting time of worship!
MC3 Church to host Fall Festival at J.B. Williams Park Oct. 19

We are excited to announce plans for a community-wide fall festival hosted by MC3 Church on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at J.B. Williams Park.

The festival will feature inflatables, games and trunk-or-treating for kids, as well as hamburgers, hotdogs, snow cones and fun for the entire family. All activities will be free.

The church will widely promote this event and we will need all hands on deck to put our best face forward for the community. Over the next few weeks, we will be looking to sign up servants who can help us stage the event.

Please be praying for the success of this effort and look for more details in the coming weeks. In addition, please be gathering candy to use in your own trunk-or-treat station or to help ensure the church has enough candy on hand for the event. You can leave your donations in the lobby at Parkview on Sundays.

Thank you from Christian City
MC3 Church received the following note this week from Dan Garrett, director of church relations development at Christian City:

Art, We just received the check from MC3 Church for $13,500. Incredible! What a great step of faith and gratitude to “tithe” to other ministries from the sale of your previous facility. Awesome!
I know you have walked through a long season of transition, visioning, praying and trusting the Father. And now, you are in a fresh, new, exciting time of dreaming God-sized possibilities.
Your leadership has been steady and positive. And the church’s long relationship with Christian City, since the very beginning as one of the foundational churches, has had impact on children and senior adults through the years that only heaven knows.
Thank you, and everyone at MC3, for your loyalty through financial, volunteer and prayer support for so many years. We are so appreciative and look forward to a long partnership into the future.
Dan and all the team at Christian City
