Sermon Title: Reaching The One
Scripture:  John 1:19-50

This Sunday, we will finish out our sermon series by unpacking the importance of being one who reaches one. In John 1, Andrew encounters Jesus and we are told, "The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus."  This is the vision that we have for every MC3er, that the first thing we have on our hearts and minds might be to bring someone to Jesus.
Get ready for a Super Bowl Sunday like you've never experienced
MC3 Church has teamed up with Football Sunday to host a Faith and Football Extravaganza on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020.

Every year, one weekend captivates more people around the world than any other. The Super Bowl is one of the largest single-day sporting events in the world, and we want to use it to help MC3 provide a one-of-a-kind experience to encounter Jesus.

Over the next couple of weeks--and on the big day itself--we'll be highlighting the faith journeys of current NFL players who are using their platforms to glorify Jesus. Be planning now to Reach the One and invite someone to join you for church on Sunday.

After Sunday worship, we also will host a tailgate party and lots of other fun activities for our families.
Balaam’s Donkey

Have you ever seen a cuter Balaam’s Donkey? Balaam’s Donkey was portrayed by Ellie Cullifer at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday School class for children of adults attending a class at that time or helping with the set-up for church as part of the Gravity Ministry. This class has the Teacher position open with a small class but with big hearts and adorable personalities!

Pictures of darling children acting out “The Good Samaritan” in their Wednesday evening C-Group. They are: Kasen and Corbin Singleton, and Graecen and Josey Stills. What a great crew!

"3 2 1" , or “14 1” Children’s Version!
Grades 1 through 5 have been challenged to do the following:

3 Minutes each day to read their Bibles! (Read with or without their parents!) *

2 Minutes to pray (Make a list and set a timer!) *

1 Time a day to say to someone: “I just love my church!”

People will ask them, “Why?” and the child then can tell them their reasons and their story!

* These are long times for our darling children, but they have been encouraged that they can “Do It!”

They were given an ace, two and three of playing cards (not UNO cards) to help them remember. Won’t it
be interesting to hear their stories?

Middle and high school students reading through the Bible in 90 days
Our Student Ministry is reading through the Bible this winter. Called The Bible Study, students are meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays in the lobby at Parkview High School to review their Bible readings from the past week.

How it works: Grab one of the bible study books from this website . Read the readings and answer the questions for each day!

This week's readings if you do not have the book are:
Acts 22- 1st Corinthians 11.

"On average, it is five chapters a day, which takes about 15 minutes," says Will Tyler, MC3's student pastor. "This time, plus our Sunday morning time and the time during the Livin Room, is about 3 percent of our week. Help me encourage our students to start spending 3 percent of our weeks with the Lord."

Other Student Ministry news:
