A word from Art
New sermon series will examine the power of prayer
Title: What is prayer?
Scripture: Revelation 3:20

Have you ever taken a step back and thought, "Why pray?" It's strange to me how something so simple can be so complex and perplexing. And yet, prayer is the method by which we not only communicate with God, but commune with God.

This Sunday, we will attempt to answer the question, "What is prayer?" The answer is much deeper and more vast than we might think. Ultimately, what we will discover is that prayer is a remarkable and fantastic adventure with God. Our hope is that you will join us in this adventure.
We need your help to plan our Easter Sunday schedule
MC3 is planning our schedule for Easter Sunday in light of the social distancing requirements required for COVID.

Because Easter is usually a well-attended Sunday, we need to make sure we can accommodate everyone who wants to attend in person. In addition to our regular 10:30 a.m. service, we are looking at the possibility of adding a second service--one that would begin at 9 a.m. or a Sunrise Service that would meet in the parking lot and include breakfast.

Please take a moment to complete the brief survey and help us determine how best to proceed with our Easter Sunday plans. Click the link below.
MC3 Students: Are you ready for Sunday in the Park?
MC3's middle and high school students will meet Sunday at 4 p.m. in Lilburn City Park for a devotional service and fellowship.

Contact Will Tyler by email or text with any questions.

The Second Commandment

You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

The Israelites journeyed through lands of many idols. This was akin to walking through a dangerous minefield. God instituted the Second Commandment as a pathway to safety.
Our idols are less obvious today. They come in the form of things that sneak into our lives to grab our time and affection.
God wants first place in our lives. Even children have temptations that pull them away from God. This lesson will help children practically identify the things that compete with God as the primary loves in our lives. He is the only one who deserves first place in our hearts and lives.

Look for the lesson to be delivered by email on Friday afternoon.
Get on board!
It may look complicated, but it's really not! MC3 needs additional support to run our soundboard. Give us an hour and we can have you pushing these knobs and buttons like an expert -- and being the hands and feet that take the gospel to our growing online audience.

Join our Tech Team for a training session this Saturday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Paxton Drive worship hall, 2150 Paxton Dr., Lilburn, GA 30047.

Please email or text Keri Duncan at 770-633-0959 if you plan to attend.
