The birth of Jesus changed everything
Sermon Title: This Changes My Lifestyle
Scripture:   Matthew 1 & 2

We're embarking on a brand new sermon series on how the birth of Jesus changes everything for us. This Sunday, we will highlight how Jesus changes my lifestyle. There is no doubt that a new baby changes the lifestyle of any family. But think about Mary and Joseph. Their lives were turned upside down. The lifestyle of 12 Jewish men were radically different because of Jesus, and even the lifestyle of a man named Saul was radically changed by Jesus. Join us Sunday as we begin this new series.
Candy and servants needed for Lilburn Christmas Parade
The Lilburn Christmas Parade will take place Saturday, Dec. 7, and we need servants and candy to support MC3's Nativity float.

Please bring candy donations Sunday and leave in one of the metal containers in the Parkview lobby. Or you can drop off your candy at the church office.

Our students and children will staff the Nativity scene, and we need other servants to walk alongside the float and pass out candy.

Please be in place by 9 a.m. at our float, which will stage in the parking lot of Lilburn Baptist Church. Parking is usually tight at the church, so you may need to plan to be there earlier. Another option is to park at the end of the parade route in the Lilburn Park and walk up to the staging site at Lilburn Baptist. Due to the limited parking, we encourage people to carpool if possible.
Lion and Lamb Name Contest
Our Name the Lion and Lamb Contest ends Sunday, Dec. 1! Make sure your child returns their entry forms. We will announce the new names on Dec. 8, in worship, and prizes will be be given to the winners.

Children may enter as many names as they like. Each entry should be on a separate entry form. What will the names be?!?!?!

Children to sing in Christmas service
Our children will sing in the Christmas Adult Worship at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 22. They are practicing each week with Keri Marsh. What could be sweeter than hearing and seeing our darling children sing of the birth of our precious Lord and Savior’s birth!
Our children need a place to party for Christmas and New Year's Eve!
Our Children's Ministry needs a host home(s), clubhouse room, etc., for the following parties for approximately 20 children from age 4 through the fifth grade. All planning, supplies, refreshments and games will be provided by other Children’s Ministry servants and parents.

  1. Christmas Party – Date to be determined by host.
  2. Celebrate at Eight! – A New Year’s Eve Party, Tuesday, Dec. 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. We will celebrate the New Year’s stroke of midnight at 8 p.m.! More fun details later.
