A word from Art
Following the star with the Wise Men
Sermon Title: Fear Not
Scripture: Matthew 2:1-15

This Sunday, we will unpack the trek of the Wise Men. Their journey is one of mystery, intrigue, excitement, wonder and danger. Throughout this story, there is a fearful overtone, as Herod and all of Jerusalem are "troubled" by the news of Jesus' birth. Join us Sunday at 10:30 a.m. as we take a lesson from the Wise Men on how we should navigate troubling times.

Please take a moment to sign up if you plan to join us for IN-PERSON worship or in the PARKING LOT of our new worship hall, located at 2150 Paxton Dr., Lilburn, Georgia, 30047. We'll also be ONLINE at 10:30 a.m. for those who prefer to worship at home.

If you plan to attend INSIDE or in the PARKING LOT, please SIGN UP NOW. Nobody likes to sign up to attend church, but it's important during this COVID-19 era to help us provide a safe environment.
Magi visit Jesus
Matthew 2:1-18

Our dear parents,

There is so much we can learn from the scriptures of Matthew 2:1-18 where the Magi (Wise Men, sometimes traditionally referred to as Kings) travel to where Jesus was to worship Him.

During this time of Jesus’ birth celebration, we will focus on the teachings from these men who traveled between 1,000 to 2,000 miles to worship and bring the Christ child gifts representing royalty, worship and suffering. We also will learn about the Magi’s prior knowledge of the prophecies of the Messiah’s coming, the recognition of these prophecies, their generosity, perseverance and devoted love.

'Keep on keeping on'

This year’s season may well be different than the past ones, but just "keep on keeping on" with your children with the same parental love and guidance as our Heavenly Father has for us. Wouldn’t that be something?!

From my heart and home to your hearts and homes, it is my prayer that this blessed, but extremely busy, time of celebrating Jesus’ birth will be one of your sweetest and most endearing Christmases ever.

Chip and I wish you a very Merry Christmas!

With all the love my heart can hold for you and yours,

rae Tyler Caggiula
