Put faith on the mapGive your children a unique VBS experience
Embark on an epic quest through hidden ruins, ancient caves and dense jungles this summer. The Treasured Vacation Bible School experience will give children an opportunity to dig into action-packed, faith-filled adventures. They’ll discover God’s greatest treasure isn’t diamonds, gems or goldit's them!

Please register for the online VBS experience by emailing Rae Caggiula at caggiula@MC3.life.

MC3 is grateful to once again have an opportunity to partner with SOAR Ministries and Crosspoint Christian Church in New York to be part of this online VBS adventure via Zoom. It will be great! While we hopeand expectto do an in-person VBS next year, please don't miss this opportunity to give your children a personal encounter with Jesus.
A word from Art
Sermon Title: Till Inconvenience Do Us Part
Scripture: Matthew 5:31-32

In Matthew 5, Jesus touches on divorce, a subject that has impacted every one of us. What we are going to discover is that Jesus isn't so much focusing on divorce, but is highlighting the importance of the sacredness of marriage. As the writer of Hebrews says, "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral." Join us Sunday as we talk about this important, yet sensitive, topic.
Kingdom Kids
Hannah's Special Prayer

Our lesson this week will be about one of the Bible’s true heroes, Hannah! The emphasis for the children will be to know that God hears our prayersand theirsand answers according to His will.

A secret birthday wish!

SSSHHH! It's a secret!

Monday, May 24, is Isabella Kollie's birthday! Please wish her well this Sunday, May 23. You will make this precious little girl's day.
Student Ministry schedule for the summer
Will Tyler has announced the summer schedule for middle and high school students (see calendar above). Here are important notes about the calendar:

  • MC3 Students Summer Nights and the Summer Jam will all be at our old building, 6015 Old Stone Mountain Road. We will be at the ball field/pavilion area around back. Dinner included at each event.

  • First Sunday events, like the Cornhole Tournament and the July 4th Cookout, are churchwide events. These will be right after church. On those days, the youth group will not meet in the evening.

  • The Movie Night on June 16 will be held at Will and Helena's house (in the backyard). We have a 20-foot inflatable screen and dinner will be provided!

  • Morning Devotion is every Sunday morning at 9:30 in the loft at our worship center. Your student can also Zoom in if they are not in person yet. Please let Will know beforehand, so he can have everything set up. Meeting code is 976-423-7043.
2nd annual MC3 Cornhole Tournament and lunch after church coming your way June 6
Mark June 6 on your calendar for our second annual MC3 Cornhole Tournament and a hamburger-hot dog lunch right after church.

The fun will take place in the parking lot behind the 2150 Paxton Dr. worship center following church at 10:30 a.m.

We will serve hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks and dessert. Pick your partner now and look for more details in next week's newsletter—including a sign-up sheet.
Save the date: Mission trip coming this fall
SOAR Ministries will be leading a mission trip to Ability Ministryalso known as Riverwood or formerly CCDMin October during Gwinnett County school system's fall break.

The mission trip is slated for Oct. 7-10 in Louisville, Tennessee.

"We would love for teens and adults in MC3 to be a part of this," said Keri Duncan, head of SOAR and MC3's director of visual and technical services. "I have taken two small groups in the past and we had a wonderful time with the residents. We do various cleaning and light work projects around the campus and then share a meal or two with the residents and have a singing time."

Look for more details to come. In the meantime, put the date on your calendar and contact Keri by email.
