Parents and grandparents: New process for checking kids in and out of Sunday morning worship starts this week

Starting Sunday, MC3's Junior Church will implement a check-out process for children, adding a step to the existing check-in process.

After every Sunday service, a Check-Out table will be set up at the doors to the worship area, by the stairs. Please stop by this table to officially check out your children. Once your child’s worker clears the check-out, you are welcome to continue upstairs to pick up your child.

We are excited about MC3 Kids' growth, and this new process will ensure the children's safety. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

Sermon Title: Commissioned

Scripture: Matthew 28

Most of us have heard the term "Great Commission." The Great Commission is found in Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Here's my question: Where did the phrase "Great Commission" come from? And why is it so great?

This Sunday, we will launch a new sermon series exploring what the Great Commission is and what makes it great. I can't wait to see you there . . . it's going to be great!

Thanks a bunch to our FallFest servants

We want to share our heartfelt appreciation to all MC3 family members who volunteered or came out to support Saturday's FallFest event at J.B. Williams Park.

It was a great day! More than 150 families attended and we had a steady stream of activity throughout the entire event. We gave away more than 150 children's Bible story books and New Testaments, served more than 300 hamburgers and hot dogs, passed out hundreds of sno-cones and bags of popcorn, and handed out thousands and thousands of pieces of candy. It was an incredible time of engaging with our community and your support made it possible.
