Emory IHI Award

Second-year medical students Taylor Johnson, Ansley Connelly and Claire Robinson won the recent Institute for Healthcare Improvement Open School Case Competition hosted by Emory University. Their project, which looked at how climate change has affected the growing tick population in rural Georgia, won first prize and the participants' choice award. Congratulations! Learn more

American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT) Meeting

Second-year medical student, Carson Chambers, who has been conducting research with Dr. Yudan Wei, presented their study titled “Urinary paraben concentrations by demographics and cancer diagnosis among US adults” at the 2025 ACMT Annual Scientific Meeting in Vancouver.

Bear Cub-Board Food Drive Competition

April 6 - 17 | Macon campus


Macon’s Bear Cub-Board is hosting a food drive competition! Students and employees on the Macon campus will be split into four teams: M1s, M2s, Master’s/PhD students, and faculty/staff. Earn points for your team by donating food items to the designated boxes in the library. A point system, along with example items for each tier, will be posted on flyers. The team with the highest score will win an exciting prize—to be announced soon. Join in the friendly competition and help support MUSM's food pantry!
