Two weeks ago, I was in Charleston, SC for Sammy’s graduation. It was an exciting time as his entire family gathered to celebrate him and his huge accomplishments. We cheered for him, smiled and took many pictures. It was all we hoped it would be except Charleston was experiencing record breaking temperatures. The high was 100⁰ on the day of the graduation. The day before it was 101⁰.
It’s graduation season, the end of the school year and summer begins next week. Congratulations to all (parents, teachers, extended family, neighbors, etc.) for making through another school year. We celebrate you! Many kids seem to be super excited because for them it’s a time to enjoy the pool, do yard work
and play video games. It’s a season to relax and get rejuvenated.
I hope as you travel this summer you do not run into record breaking temperatures as we did but before you go, we hope to see you in worship. We are preparing for many new and exciting things and we don’t want you to miss it.
