A few words from Batsheva Reinitz - Rakezet
Today begins the Kayyitz Zman. Trees are blooming, the sun is shining (at least here in Eretz Yisrael) and it's an opportunity for new beginnings. We didn't plan for this day to be through our new virtual world, but nonetheless today can be amazing.
Just a few days ago we commemorated the 11th yarzheit of Aliza Nat Shull, a Midreshet Moriah alumna. Aliza went to Midreshet both Shana Aleph and Shana Bet. She was a star student and loved by all. She was my dear friend for many years even before Midreshet. She was the reason why I even ended up there.
As I think of Aliza and what she accomplished in her short life, I remember how she always, and I mean always, looked at every single situation with a positive attitude. No matter what struggles she had or what was happening, she said let's get up and make it right, make it happen and make it memorable.
