Dr. Irwyn Ince, Coordinator of Mission to North America, will be preaching in our morning services as well as in our special night of worship and prayer that evening. Our own talented musicians, Jered McKenna, Trevor Manor, and Dan Forrest will lead us in this service. 

New Members Class

Fall 2023 Registration

Welcome to Mitchell Road! We're excited to have you join us for our upcoming New Members Class! Class begins on Sunday, October 15, from 9:45-10:45am and runs every Sunday morning for six weeks, ending on November 19.

You will also need to pick one Sunday evening dinner to attend - either October 15 or October 22. These classes are from 5:00-7:00pm at the church. We will reimburse your childcare that night if needed.

Childcare will be provided Sunday mornings during the New Members Class for Birth–4th grade.

Special Concert: Featuring Craig Courtney

On Sunday, September 24, at 4:00pm, we welcome Craig Courtney for a special concert of his sacred choral music. 

Craig has been enriching Mitchell Road's worship for decades with his choral compositions that pierce the heart. He will be conducting the Mitchell Road Choir and Orchestra for the first time in this hour-long program of his beloved anthems, with Artist-in-Residence, Dan Forrest at the piano.

PrimeTime Picnic Event

at Lake Robinson

Thursday, October 5

We will gather on Thursday, October 5, at Lake Robinson (2544 Mays Bridge Road, Greer) at 11:30am for a picnic! Come as early as 10:30am and stay as long as you'd like! Many of our senior adults look forward to this annual picnic at beautiful Lake Robinson.

We have the large pavilion reserved. We'll provide the chicken and cold water. Cost is $5/person, plus bring a side or dessert. We will also play BINGO with valuable prizes!

We Are Hiring!

Nursery & Preschool Coordinator

We are hiring for a new position: Nursery & Preschool Coordinator. This newly designed position will cover ages Birth through K5 and work on Sunday mornings and in the office during the week. 

Our current Nursery Coordinator, Kelley Collins, has shifted positions within the MR Kids Staff to the new position of MR Kids Associate where she will be able to assist with Sunday morning functions and provide administrative work to the ministry. Because of this, we are expanding the Nursery Coordinator position and will hire a new Nursery & Preschool Coordinator.
