Hebrews: Jesus is Better

Sermon text: Hebrews 1:1-14

This Week's Prayer:

Pray for God to give our church a growing heart for reaching the world. - Matthew 28:16-20

Here & Now

New Sermon Series Begins This Sunday!

After reading through the entire Bible last year in our Journey Through Scripture, our congregation has a strong and even deeper foundation from which to appreciate our next sermon series. Join us, beginning this Sunday, as we begin our four-month sermon series on the book of Hebrews. We will be reminded that Jesus is Better than anything this world has to offer us.

*At the top of the weekly email, we will always have the coming Sunday’s preaching text so you can get the most from each Sunday’s message.

Our spiritual retreats are an opportunity to set aside focused time to hear from the Lord, meditate on His Word, and rest in the peace that comes only from Him.

On June 10, July 8, and August 12 we will have spiritual retreats on campus from 8:30am—1:00pm. We will provide guidance, quiet space, and breakfast and lunch, and the Lord will provide the rest. Email [email protected] to register.

Learn More About Leadership at Mitchell Road

It’s that time in the life of Mitchell Road for us to nominate and train new church officers, deacons, and elders.

What does that mean? It means that church members can nominate others to serve in church leadership.

You may have questions about how we do this, what we do, and why. So if you have questions about this or are interested in serving as an officer, we would like to answer any questions you have.

Join us for an informational meeting Sunday, June 18, at 9:45am in B105. Come with any thoughts, questions, or concerns you may have.
