Visiting Choir Concert

The Mitchell Road Presbyterian choir ministry is hosting a free concert this Saturday, March 18, at 7:00pm in our Sanctuary! It will feature our Artist-in-Residence, Dan Forrest, who will be performing at the piano with the talented choir from Staley High School in Kansas, conducted by Tracy Resseguie.

The hour-long program features works by living composers, everything from beloved spirituals settings, to anthems by Dan (Shalom), as well as his brand-new piece, Let Me Listen, about being a better neighbor. We hope you can join us for this wonderful evening.

Let me listen as you tell your story,

Your triumphs and your tears,

Your trials and your fears.

Your story never has been mine to tell

so let me listen...

From Let Me Listen (2023) words by Charles Anthony Silvestri, music by Dan Forrest.

World premiere this weekend: Saturday, March 18, at 7:00pm, Sanctuary of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church
