MBS Book Buyback is Online!
Due to the limited access to our school buildings, we will NOT have an on-site book buyback this year. Families will still be able to sell their books through the MBS online portal.

The buyback period for Montgomery Catholic will be May 8 - June 5.

How does Online Buyback work?
All students and families have to do is:
  1. Create a buyback quote by going to the “Sell your textbooks” page in the virtual bookstore.
  2. Log into the same account used to order books and follow the step-by-step instructions to create a buyback quote.
  3. Print the buyback quote and a prepaid shipping label.
  4. Ship the books to the distribution facility in Columbia, Missouri.
  5. Choose whether to receive buyback money via PayPal or a check in the mail.

Watch the video below for detailed instructions on how to sell back your books!
Sign Up for Summer Camps!
Dear MCPS Families,

I hope this note finds you all well in these unprecedented, tough times. We want to let you know that we still plan on having our summer camps for our students. If your family is interested, I encourage everyone to go ahead and sign up for the camps. If we are not able to have them, we will gladly refund your payments.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone soon,

Coach Veres

Support Our MCPS Restaurants!
Our local restaurants have been greatly impacted by the mandatory closure of their dining rooms due to Covid-19, and we want to put a spotlight on those in the Montgomery Catholic community who have remained open for take-out and delivery. If you plan to order a meal, please consider supporting businesses owned by MCPS families and alumni. We will get through this together!

If you are an MCPS parent, grandparent, or alumni and have a restaurant that is currently open, please let us know and we will add your business to this list! Email

2020 Census Is Online!
Have you filled out your 2020 Census yet? In 2020, we as Alabamians have a tremendous opportunity to positively affect our state’s future for the next 10 years and beyond. How? By taking less than 10 minutes to complete a 2020 Census form.

Not only that. Saying “I Count” by completing your census form also helps secure a brighter future for yourself, your family and your community.

Data from the census affects everyone. We all have something to gain from a full census count.

Funding to Alabama for many important programs that affect health care, education, housing assistance, infrastructure development and more is tied in some form to census data.

2020 Census Questionnaire can be filled out online at; on the telephone at 1-844-330-2020; or, by mail.

Academics+ Opportunity Scholarship Fund
The Covid-19 Epidemic has closed the door to schools in Alabama. When the doors reopen, 300 students will be counting on their Academics+ scholarship to return to their current school.

These are uncertain times for everyone, but especially to students zoned to failing schools, and those whose families have limited financial resources.

We realize that businesses and individuals have been impacted financially and may not be able to estimate their tax liability, however, global health threats and economic downturns do not lessen the importance of the mission of Catholic education, nor supersede the rights of parents to choose a school that best suits the needs of their child. While such obstacles make finding funding more difficult, we cannot allow ourselves to quit. Many will suffer financial hardship to due to the Covid -19 crisis, but some will not. We need to continue in our efforts to make sure our students receive the scholarships they need to return to their schools in the fall.
We need your help!

If you have any Alabama State Tax Liability, please make a donation and reserve a tax credit today.  Please click here.

If you are unsure of your liability, please help us budget for the upcoming school year by clicking here to make a pledge today.  Please click here

Our hearts are grateful for your support. We pray for your health and safety.
