Welcome to OLLI-UM This Week!


The OLLI-UM offices, located in the Turner Senior Resource Center, are open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 5pm. Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status per University policy.

On Thursday, August 11th  at 12 Noon the OLLI Development Committee in conjunction with UM Development will host a Legacy Giving: Estate Planning Seminar.  

 

This moderated webinar will feature esteemed Planned Giving professional, Jane Langeland, who will share the various ways to create a legacy gift through planned giving and the benefits to those interested in doing so.


For many organizations, legacy gifts are a lasting investment to advance the mission and provide long term sustainability for organizations and programs you care about, such as OLLI-UM.

has had a career in advertising, marketing, telecommunications, outreach through print materials, social media, emails and

Is skilled in developing relationships across relevant consumers

 

 Is committed to engaging persons who are current and potential OLLI members

 

 Has 8 – 10 hours a month for volunteer work

The Turner African American Services Council is planning an event on voting rights. Attendees will gain insight into the history and struggle of African Americans as they fought for the right to vote in America.
