We need more helping hands and meet at different times to suit everyone’s convenience. Please join us and contact Ginny von Rueden at rvonrueden@comcast.net or 781-631-7898.
Marblehead Racial Justice Team Presents:
Marblehead High School’s Team Harmony - Focus on Diversity
Monday, May 16, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Meeting Room, Abbot Public Library and Online Via Zoom

Come learn from and be inspired by students from Team Harmony, a 90+ member club at Marblehead High School whose mission is to promote diversity and combat bias in our schools.

In this session, Team Harmony members will share presentations they have made to Marblehead’s high school, middle school, and elementary school students. We’ll discuss effective ways students communicate acts of hatred that undermine feelings of acceptance and will not be tolerated. Having age-appropriate conversations supporting inclusion can help us all to be better community members.

These ongoing Marblehead Racial Justice Team conversations offer a safe and welcoming place in which we explore privilege, biases, and questions. This is a place for listening, conversation, and engagement. We hope we can continue to learn and grow together so that we can make a difference.

This program will be offered in person and online via Zoom. Space is limited to join in person. To attend in person, please register in advance for his meeting here: https://tinyurl.com/In-Person-May-2022-MRJT. To attend via Zoom, please register in advance for this meeting here: https://tinyurl.com/Zoom-May-2022-MRJT. Update from the Interim Search Committee

We have received several impressive candidate profiles and are in the process of interviewing the candidates. We will keep the congregation posted as we have more information.

If you have any questions about this process, please reach out by email to one of the co-chairs of the Interim Search Committee: Bonnie MacDonald bonnietim@comcast.net or John Meakin jgmeakin@icloud.com. We appreciate everyone's faith and understanding as we move through this time of transition.
