This Week at Our Lady of Sorrows - February 3, 2019
Starting this Sunday, our parish will have the opportunity to serve our brothers and sisters who are in need of shelter and food, and who thirst for God’s love. It is our week for the rotating shelter of South Oakland, S.O.S.  The Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us of the relationship between the Eucharist and our commitment to the poor: receiving Christ’s body and blood depends upon recognizing Christ’ “in the poorest.”  So, every time we gather at the Lord’s Table, we acknowledge our solidarity with the world’s poor and with all the outcast and marginalized.
Reminders: No Children's Liturgy of the Word this Sunday, Feb. 3.
Monthly Food Collection (C.A.R.E.S) this weekend.
The Parish Office has reopened Friday, Feb. 1.
