When you think of God’s will, what comes to mind: a formula, a connect-the-dots picture or a relationship?
Many of us fall prey to thinking that God’s will is the ultimate “if then” formula. If I do this, then God must, always will do this. Jesus did not see the will of God like this. Just look at the words he used to describe people who were doing his will. In Mark 3:35, he said that the people who do his will are his brother and sister and mother. John 14:41 tells us that our obedience is a result of our love and in turn, we are loved by God. John 15:14 remind us that we are his friends if we obey his commands. Did you notice that none of these are mathematical terms? They are all relational terms. When we live by the will of God, God deeply loves us like we do our friends and family.

Registration will for Kidz Day 2021/2022 is open now. Kidz Day is our mother’s day out ministry which meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year at Parkway Victoria. It is a safe place for preschoolers to have fun, learn school basics, and begin to discover that God created and loves them. Students who have completed 6th-8th grade in the 2020-2021 school year will attend Camp Zephyr in Sandia, Texas. While there, they will have an opportunity to grow in their relationship with God and others through small group devotional time, large group messages & worship, and fun & games during rec time.
The cost for Camp is $300 prior to June 6 and $325 after. There will be a non-refundable deposit of $60.00 to reserve a spot for camp. Any cancellation after June 28 will not be eligible for any refund. For more information about camp, contact ReAnne. |

Students, who have completed 9th-12th grade, will attend Student Life Camp at Dallas Baptist University where they will have an opportunity to grow through worship, messages, and missional work.

One of our community partners Christ’s Kitchen has played an invaluable role in meeting the needs of the hungry and the homeless in our community for years. Now, they are serving hundreds of people a day. Each week, we are providing items to assist in their ministry. This week, we are providing green beans, water bottles and $5/HEB Gas gift cards. We are looking for two teammates to join the Parkway staff. Every position plays a key part in our ministry success so if you are looking and God is calling, we would love to talk.
Impact Kids Ministry Coordinator: This teammate will lead the Impact Kids team to build relationships that build disciples. This year-round 15 hours per week position requires Wednesday availability and midweek office work. View the position description. Contact Kristi for more information.
Facilities Team Member: This teammate ensures that our spaces are ministry ready every time we host services, groups, and events. We are looking for a teammate who is servant-minded and detail-oriented for this part-time position. Contact Steven for more information.
