Worship this Sunday will feature a beautiful musical presentation by Space City Sound. Then afterwards, come to Fellowship Hall for an informal concert featuring some of their songs from a recent competition! SCS uses our facility for their weekly rehearsals; this is a "thank you" gift to us. Don't miss it!

Let's celebrate Cindy Houlihan as she enters retirement after 27 years of service to Pines. “Thank You” notes and a Love Offering are being collected. Cards can be placed in a special black and white checkered box in the Narthex. Love Offerings can be sent to Alexis Graham, Pines Financial Manager, with the wording “Cindy retirement gift” written in the memo line, or you can drop a similarly worded check in the offering plate. ANY DOLLAR AMOUNT would be greatly appreciated.

Brown Bag Book Club

Mark your calendar for our next meeting on Wednesday, September 16 at noon. Beth Patterson will lead us in a discussion of The Remains of the Day, by the Nobel Prize-winning British author, Kazuo Ishiguro. Our missions partner, Prayers of the People, provides spiritual care, prayer, and community resources through specially trained lay chaplains, bringing God's presence and hope to patients in health care settings. Tending to Grief is a non-professional support group for any stage of grief for all people of all faiths over the age 18.

The group meets Mondays 7:00 - 8:00pm in the Parlor

(except holidays). Come as your schedule allows.
