Rev. Dr. Jack Haberer is pastor, theologian, author, editor, seminary professor and administrator. He served as pastor of Clear Lake Presbyterian Church and First Church, Kerrville, TX. He is the former editor and publisher of The Presbyterian Outlook, a weekly, national news and ministry resource magazine. He has authored four books, most recently, Swimming with the Sharks: Leading the Full Spectrum Church in a Red-and-Blue World. He has served on several denominational committees, including the Theological Task Force of Peace, Unity and Purity of the Church, and presently on the Special Committee to Write a New Confession. He plays piano and guitar. In retirement he is serving as President of Gujranwala Theological Seminary in Pakistan. He and wife Barbie co-chair the board of a girls’ orphanage nearby. They have two grown children of their own, plus six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. |
