The CDC guidelines recommend that in public indoor spaces in areas of substantial infection (which St. Joseph County is) that everyone wear a mask, even if you have been vaccinated. |

NO MINDFUL YOGA WITH MARGARET JESSOP DUE TO THANKSGIVING
Time and Dates: Classes will meet Tuesdays at 10-11 October-November
Please join Margaret Jessop for a new eight-week yoga class series at Sacred Waters. Class is an hour with the last 10 minutes for meditation. Beginners or more advanced students welcome (geared towards adults). We have room for 12 students and masks are worn in the building and in class. Cost is $80 for all 8 classes or $15 drop in. Please check with me prior to dropping in to make sure there is still space available. Payments can be made to Venmo Margaret-Jessop-1 or checks to Margaret Jessop, brought to the first day of class.

The Yoga studio sits in a lovely natural setting with a pond, waterfall, trees, creek and wildlife. There is a noticeable mailbox at the top of the driveway and you will head down a short road to the home of Sacred Waters. Helpful to arrive 10 minutes early to get settled before class begins and to park close together to leave space for everyone. You can bring your own mat and blocks, strap and blanket or borrow these items during class from Sacred Waters. If you have any questions about props, please send me an email.

NO SUNDAY CIRCLE OF SILENCE
DUE TO THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
Do you feel stressed and unable to find time to just Be? Do you find it difficult to meditate at home with so many distractions? Come join us on Sunday mornings. According to the great mystic Meister Eckhart: “Wherever this Word (of God) is to be heard, it must occur in stillness and Silence. We cannot be of greater service to this Word than through stillness and silence. There we can hear and understand it correctly.” Sermon 18. We will begin the hour with 20 minutes of silent meditation. We will then do a 5 minute silent walking meditation followed by another 20 minutes of silence. SPECIAL TOPICS IN ASTROLOGY
On Monday, November 29th at 7 pm
Judith Robert, Ph.D. and Carol Lloyd will present stand-alone classes on special topics in Astrology. Each meeting will be a presentation on a new topic with chart examples. Classes will be held on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Sacred Waters from 7-9 pm. $20 per class. Masks are required at this time. Location: 16990 Douglas Road, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545
A basic understanding of astrology is required (meaning of planets, houses, signs). Participants will have an opportunity to apply the principle taught to class charts. If you would like to share your chart during the class, please send your birth data (date, time and place of birth) to the respective teacher at least two days before class. If you would like a copy of your chart with the class topic highlighted but prefer not to discuss the chart in class, please indicate this preference. Judith Robert received her diploma from Liz Greene’s Centre for Psychological Astrology in London, in 2011, her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University in Evanston in 1984 and her diploma from the Jung Institute in Chicago in 1995. She has a consulting practice in Psychological Astrology in South Bend, IN.
Carol Lloyd has been an astrologist since 1988 and has taught classes since 1992. Carol has studied various astrological systems, including Medieval, Western, Vedic, Babylonian, Cosmobiology, and Chinese Four Pillars. Horary astrology is one of her specialties as she enjoys using astrology to get answers to life's many questions.

READING THE GOSPEL OF SRI RAMAKRISHNA

Andrew Harvey once said that if he could take only one book to a deserted island “The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna” would be his choice. The book is written in dialogue form detailing the conversations Ramakrishna had with people that came to see him. It records his moods, his songs, his humor and gives one a sense of what it would be like to be in the presence of a Divine Incarnation. Using wonderful analogies, Ramakrishna discusses some of the most profound spiritual topics and his own spiritual experiences. We will stop often for discussion and sharing. I will have extra copies for everyone.

If you’re not familiar with dream interpretation, the process is quite simple: learn to remember your dreams and develop your intuition. But since it’s often much easier to interpret someone else’s dream than your own, we’ll share our dreams in a supportive environment to benefit from each others’ intuitive insights.If you have any recent dreams to share, please bring them to discuss with the group.

YOGA NIDRA WITH MARGARET JESSOP
If you are curious about Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) or have experienced it before, please join me for a class on December 2nd from 6:30-7:30 pm at Sacred Waters.
Yoga Nidra is the practice of very deep relaxation. When used regularly, it has many benefits, especially in calming stress and anxiety. This practice can also help strengthen mood, memory, cognitive function, and self-control. This class will begin with light movement and then move into a 45 minute guided meditation. Perfect for the stressful world we have been living in and as we head into the hectic holiday season. With enough interest, a six-week class will be organized for the new year so this is a great opportunity to see what Yoga Nidra is all about.
This is a donation class. Please bring either a cash donation or non-perishable foods for the Indiana Food Bank.
You will want to dress in comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat and a blanket or two. However, there are also mats and blankets to borrow at Sacred Waters, if needed. Also, please be advised that Sacred Waters requires masks for all participants regardless of vaccination status.

INTRODUCTION TO THE FUNDAMENTALS OF ASTROLOGY
On Monday, December 6th at 7 p.m.
This six-week class will focus on the fundamentals of astrology using the book “The Essential Guide to Practical Astrology” by April Elliott Kent. The first class will begin September 20th and will meet the first and third Monday of the month through December 6th from 7:00 -9:00 p.m. at Sacred Waters.
Judith Robert, Carol Lloyd, and Jamila Blue will our teachers during this series.
Astrology, like all symbolic systems, is a means to imagine the world around us and within ourselves. The ancient saying attributed to Hermes Tresmegistus, “As above, so below; as within, so without,” conveyed the idea that the movements of Sun, Moon and planets in the heavens mirrored events on earth and developments within the individual psyche.
Reflection upon the astrological birth chart, defined by the relationship of the planetary bodies and the Sun and Moon at birth, provides understanding of both our talents and our struggles, our aspirations and our fears, and gives meaning to our life story. While the patterns of our behavior and relationships seem to repeat themselves over time, with conscious reflection, we are capable of seeing the larger pattern of our life and making changes necessary to our individuation.
No previous knowledge of astrology is required. Students of all levels of astrology are welcome to drop into individual classes for the regular suggested donation of $20. Beginners are strongly encourage to register for all six classes by 9/8 and receive a discount on the class fee. Early bird registration for full course by September 8th $90 / $120 thereafter.
