This Sunday: One Service at 10am followed by a Potluck Lunch
No Sunday School Classes or Kids Worship this Sunday
Join us as we honor our Scottish heritage and faith with a celebration service followed by a potluck lunch following worship for everyone. Please wear your tartan or anything that may represent your unique family heritage. There will only be the 10am service. We will not have Sunday School classes or kids worship during the Kirkin o' the Tartan service.

Nov 14-16 / for High School Students
Awanita Valley Christian Retreat is the perfect place for High School students to get away from the busyness of life and gather for a weekend of renewal. Lessons, worship, small groups, fun, fellowship, and time to breathe. The cost is $175 (covers lodging, meals, transportation, and retreat activities). Students can register now, and leaders can email Mary if you're interested in helping. Registration closes on October 23.

Future Mission Trips to NC

Many people are under the impression that things are back to normal in North Carolina after the hurricane last year. The reality is that many communities are struggling to rebuild and are still very much in need of assistance. The Disaster Relief Team has recently struggled to find persons willing to join in our monthly trips to help some folks to return to pre-storm living conditions. We hope you'll consider joining us!

Audio/Visual Volunteers Needed
To Help with Sunday Worship / Training Provided

Caring Connections Brotherhood

In August our Congregational Care ministries reached out to others in the following ways:
+ 10 calls were made to those on the Prayer List
+ Caring Connections sent 40 cards, had 42 visits, and made 72 calls/texts
+ Stephen Ministers provided care for 3 care receivers
+ Renee’ Starnes talked with 67 people, mailed 48 letters and newsletters, sent 23 cards
+ WinGS had 12 at the August luncheon
+ The Homebound Communion team of 14 volunteers gave communion to 10 people
+ The Brotherhood had 10 men present at their last August lunch
