The season of gratitude and thanksgiving is upon us! We are working with Missions of Hope again to bring Thanksgiving dinner to families in our community. We will be collecting dry goods in bins in the Narthex, Atrium, and Church Office.

Trees Up Nov 10 - Return Gifts by Dec 1


Gift Giving Instructions

  1. Choose a Tag
  • Select a tag from the tree. Each tag has two parts: a top copy and a back copy.
  • Take the top copy with you.
  • Fill out the back copy, then place it in the designated bag near the tree.
  1. Prepare Your Gift
  • Wrap the gift and attach the top copy of the tag securely to the package.
  • Please return your wrapped gift to the church by Sunday, December 1st.
  1. Thoughtful Giving
  • Feel free to include a card or note in the package.
  • The suggestions on the tag are only ideas; give as you feel led.
  1. Pray for the Recipient
  • Take a moment to pray for the individual who will receive your gift.

The gifts will be shared with recipients from Mission of Hope and the Mental Health Department. Thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness!

Join us at 8AM on Saturday, November 9 (the 2nd Saturday of the month) at the church’s outdoor patio in front of the Light House. Bring a sack breakfast to enjoy before we head out to assist individuals in need.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

November 7 & 12 | 10-11:30AM | Room 154


Just bring needles and learn to knit. The shawls made are blessed and given to members in need. Everyone is welcome to serve in this ministry, no experience required. This group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.

Lexington County Garden Club

The Lexington County Garden Club meets the first Wednesday of every month. Our next meeting is November 6, 6-8PM in the Fellowship Hall.

WinGS

 November 9 | 11:30AM-1PM | Flight Deck


The WinGS group will hold this month's luncheon on Saturday, November 9 from 11:30AM-1:00PM at the Flight Deck Restaurant on 107 Chapin Road in Lexington.


This group of women meets monthly to support one another and share their experiences as widows. Every second Saturday, they gather for a meal at a local restaurant, enjoying valuable fellowship, friendship, and plenty of fun. All widows are welcome, regardless of age.


Please contact Carol Harden by 3PM today as to whether you are able to attend.

Extra Halloween Candy?

Donate It to our Kid's Ministry!

 

Our Kid’s Ministry would gladly accept any leftover Halloween candy or any other candy you'd like to donate! Just drop it off in the blue bins located in the church office, and we'll make sure it goes to good use. Thank you for your generosity!
