The season of gratitude and thanksgiving is upon us! We are working with Missions of Hope again to bring Thanksgiving dinner to families in our community. We will be collecting dry goods in bins in the Narthex, Atrium, and Church Office.

Go!Mallard Lakes Orientation

On Sunday, November 3, during Sunday school, Joel invites all Adult Sunday school classes to join him in the Fellowship Hall to learn about the Go!Mallard Lakes outreach event on November 16. He’ll share not only the logistics but also the vision behind our efforts to reach out to our neighbors. We appreciate your flexibility and look forward to seeing everyone there! And remember, it's also the day to "fall back" one hour!

Our Presbyterian Women's group is selling poinsettias again this year. Order a poinsettia in someone's memory or honor. Order online or use the envelopes in pews. Sale starts October 20 and deadline to order is November 5.

Checks payable to SGPCPW and note "poinsettia" in the memo.

Prayer Shawl Trinity

November 3 Workshop & Orientation


The Prayer Shawl Ministry is excited to introduce the Prayer Shawl Trinity! Kathy Medlen and Jimmie Rooks invite everyone interested in learning to knit, as well as those with knitting experience, to join us for a workshop and orientation on November 3, following the 11AM service.


Participants from 6th grade and up are welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage in mission work alongside friends or family, and we especially encourage mother/daughter and grandparent/grandchild pairs to participate. We believe you’ll find this group to be a relaxing way to pray and serve others.



Please RSVP to Jimmie Rooks or sign up on our website by Thursday, October 31. The group will meet on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 3:45PM.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

November 7 | 10-11:30AM | Room 154


Just bring needles and learn to knit. The shawls made are blessed and given to members in need. Everyone is welcome to serve in this ministry, no experience required. This group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.

Kids Ministry - Volunteer Today!

 

As Fall unfolds and school is back in session, there's so much excitement happening at Saxe Gotha! We invite YOU to be part of this vibrant community.


Did you know we need at least 12 volunteers each Sunday for Preschool and Elementary Sunday School? Plus, we’re looking for at least 10 volunteers for Sunday afternoon programming in Seekers and Club 45. By serving our children, you’re not just helping out—you’re modeling a living faith for the Next G4eneration!


Become a part of the Kids Ministry Volunteer Team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our kids.
