The Mother's Day Offering - Support Presbyterian Communities
Saxe Gotha is proud to partner with Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina. The Mother's Day Offering is a vital element of this partnership. Since the first Mother's Day Offering in 1954, churches across South Carolina have given generosity, enabling Presbyterian Communities to provide care for residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their life's savings. This mission, established nearly 65 years ago, required tremendous faith, courage and vision. Saxe Gotha is proud to be a partner of this legacy.

New Staff Member - Angela Kitchens Bookkeeper
We are pleased to welcome Angela Kitchens as the new Bookkeeper at Saxe Gotha! Angela brings over 20 years of bookkeeping experience, along with a solid background in church-related financial work.
Angela and her husband reside in West Columbia, where they enjoy spending time with their family. She is excited to be part of the Saxe Gotha team and looks forward to getting to know everyone.

Congregational Care
Cares About You!
In April, Caring Connections made 32 visits, sent 56 cards, and placed 45 phone calls. Stephen Ministry remained actively engaged with two care receivers. Meanwhile, Renee’ connected with many individuals, mailing 40 letters and sending 18 cards to God’s children. Please keep our ministries in your prayers as we continue to reach out to those in need, both near and far.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry will gather for a Dutch treat lunch on Thursday, May 15 at 11:15am at Bellis House of Pizza, located next to Publix. Following this gathering, the group will take a short summer break and resume regular meetings in September 2025. We’d love to have you join us!
