This is a Win-Win opportunity: you get to enjoy mouthwatering BBQ while supporting our amazing Boy Scout Troop 307. Here's the plan:

Eat-In Meals: Served after the 11AM service in the gym.

Take-Out Options: Available at 10:30AM and 12PM.

Tickets will be on sale outside church services on February 23 and March 2.

Ash Wednesday Service

Each year, Christians around the world gather on Ash Wednesday to receive the imposition of ashes, marking the beginning of the forty-day journey of Lent leading to Easter. Join us for this meaningful service as we begin our season of reflection and preparation.



Nursery services will be available for children 3 and under.

LaVie Baby Bottle Drive Reminder

If you haven’t returned your baby bottles yet, please drop them off at the church office by 5 PM this Thursday. After that, any remaining bottles will need to be returned directly to LaVie.

Nailbenders

What an incredible day of service! We had an amazing group of volunteers come together, and it’s truly inspiring to see what can be accomplished when we all pitch in.

In the community, we started by clearing debris from a roof, then safely took down some old fence posts. At the church, we tackled a variety of repairs, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Flickering lights in the restroom were replaced, and a broken fixture cover was fixed. We also installed several door stops and repaired damaged walls in both the Sanctuary and the Fellowship Hall. Additionally, we made ceiling drywall repairs in both the Sanctuary and the Lighthouse, ensuring everything looked pristine. To top it all off, we replaced a water heater in the CDC restroom, improving the space for everyone who uses it.



It was a fulfilling day, and every bit of effort made a lasting difference. Thank you to everyone who volunteered – together, we’re making our community and church stronger!

SuperStart! Recap

On February 7th and 8th, ten 4th, 5th, and 6th graders attended SuperStart! in Athens, GA. The theme for this year was "Shaped," where we discovered that we are created by God to be shaped for His Kingdom work. We explored how sometimes we let the world around us influence the way we're shaped, but ultimately, we need to allow ourselves to be shaped by our Creator for the purpose He has planned for us. We learned that no matter who we are, where we are, or how old we are, we were all made for Kingdom work.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

We knit AND Crochet! We provide the needles and yarn. No experience needed. We welcome all ages. We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month.

Support Saxe Gotha Elementary School's 5th Graders!

We invite you to pick a heart from the table in the Narthex. Each heart represents a specific dollar amount to help fund the upcoming 5th-grade field trip to Charleston, SC this spring. The cost is $75 per child.

Grab a heart with the amount written on it. Return the heart with your donation to the Valentine box by February 23rd.
