Due to unforeseen circumstances, the date of the upcoming Hellenic History Educational Tournament has been changed. ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The Hellenic History Tournament is an educational competition for students who want to learn about 3,500 years of Greek History. 
Students form their own 3-member teams, select a team name, and elect a team captain. Each team member in required to fill out the registration form and pay the $35 registration fee by the registration deadline. In return, each contestant receives a copy of “Hellenika, Heritage and History” by T. Peter Limber, the book used as the basis for most of the competition questions.
The top two teams will qualify for the National Rounds to be held July 2024, where there will be an additional $10,000 in scholarship prize money awarded.

Our Sunday School program provides a wonderful chance for the young members of our church, from Pre-K to 12th grade, to deepen their understanding of the Orthodox faith. Through the study of the Old and New Testaments, discussions on the importance of religious holidays and feast days, and exploration of the lives of the saints, our students gain knowledge and appreciation of our faith. Join us as we begin a new year of Religious Education. All are welcome!

The beneficiaries of HOPE’s efforts are children, families and individuals living within the parishes of our Metropolis as well as members of our community who are striving to achieve food security and stable housing.

Pythagoras Greek School


Students are taught reading, writing and speaking Greek as well as religion, mythology, history and traditional Greek Dances. Each grade level has its own teacher to ensure that all students realize exceptional progress throughout the school year.
