L’Église de l’Épiphanie’s Feast Day Celebration
L’Église de l’Épiphanie’s Feast Day Celebration will take place this Sunday, January 5 at 5 pm in the sanctuary. This will be Fr. Yves Eugene Joseph’s, last celebration. Please join us in wishing him a farewell and thanks for his ministry. 
Faye Gage
Faye Gage, wife of our former Associate Rector Bart Gage, passed away on December 27. The funeral will be a private ceremony. Please remember Bart and the family in your prayers.

Poinsettias
If you would like a Poinsettia plant from the Altar, they will be available on Monday, January 6. Any Poinsettias not taken will be donated to the Over Sixty Club on Tuesday.
Flower Arrangers Needed.  The beautiful flowers we all enjoy on Sunday morning are the ministry of helping hands in the church that make this happen. We need extra help at this time to share both the burden and the blessing of this ministry. Anyone willing to help should contact Phyllis Wilson. Saint John's Church will love you for it!
Volunteer needed:
Insipirca Dinners Coordinator
We are currently looking for a volunteer to take over the ministry of coordinating monthly dinners for the Inspirica Women’s Shelter in Stamford.  This ministry requires coordinating and ensuring that volunteers are in place to purchase, cook and serve dinners on the forth Friday of each month at the Women’s Shelter. Exploring Spirituality
The Tuesday Afternoon Spirituality Meetings will resume on Tuesday January 7th. 
Women’s Group: Happy New Year to you and your family. May 2020 bring you all good health, strength and much success in the name of Jesus. Our first women’s group meeting of the new year, will be on January 14th, at 6 pm in the Conference Room. We will be discussing Miriam, the sister of Moses and Aaron. The women’s group is open to all the ladies in the church and the community. Looking forward to new and better things working together in oneness to uplift and empower each other in our group for 2020. Many blessings to you All!! Yours In Christ. - Olive

Save the Date: Fr. Wheeler's 40th
The Rev. Dr. James R. Wheeler, 11th Rector of St. John's, Stamford, will celebrate 40 years of ordination to the priesthood at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at St. Paul's, Brookfield, CT on Sunday, January 12. He will preach and officiate that morning and St. Paul's will host a reception following in their parish hall. Jim and Carol will host an informal open house for friends and former parishioners at their home of 57 Mountainview Dr., Brookfield, CT following the reception. St. Paul's is located at 174 Wisconier Dr., Brookfield, CT, 06804.

We are now accepting fall and winter clothing in VERY GOOD CONDITION, along with smaller household decor items.

Please place these items in the designated box outside of St John’s dining room/parish hall.

All proceeds from the Thrift Shop are donat ed to charity.  This month the Thrift Shop donated to SIRS (Stamford Interfaith Refugees Settlements), and RISE Zambia.

Thank you for your generosity.
