From the Rector
Dear Parishioners and Friends,

On Monday, we were blessed with a bright, sunny, and warm Memorial Day. We had a good crowd for the ceremony at St. Mary's, and it was great to be able to attend the Library picnic once again. Thank you to everyone who made the day possible.

It is interesting to note how the rhythm of life differs from place to place. Back in Philadelphia at my former parish, once Trinity Sunday was over, life really slowed down for the summer. Not so in Tuxedo. Memorial Day is just the kickoff for a very busy summer season.

Of course St. Mary's is at the center of it all, and we have lots of events, both liturgical and social, coming up in the next few weeks. This coming Sunday is the Day of Pentecost, so don't forget to wear red. Please also make an effort to come and support Manoj as he joins the body of Christ through the waters of baptism.

Father Rick

On Saturday, June 4, the women of St. Mary's are invited to attend a special event hosted by the Companions of the Holy Cross, which is a women's prayer and spirituality network, founded in 1884.

The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. There will be a celebration of the Holy Eucharist at noon, led by Fr. Rick, and then continue with presentations in Bentley Hall. For more information, please see Elizabeth Ochieng.
