A Fresh Format for Easter Morning

This year, we’re excited to introduce a new format for our Easter breakfast. Instead of a full breakfast, we will gather between services for a joyful Easter Coffee Fellowship featuring donuts, bagels, coffee, and more. We understand this adjustment may affect your plans and thank you for your understanding. We’re excited about this new format and the opportunity to enjoy time together as we celebrate.

St. Matthew's Annual Easter Egg Hunt

St. Matthew's annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 4 beginning at 10:00 am at St. Matthew's. All kids from toddlers through 5th grade are welcome to come participate in the egg hunt and other Easter-related activities. (This is the week after St. Paul's Family Fun Night, so you can do BOTH!) If you know you are coming, sign up here to help us with planning the event: April 4th St. Matthew's Egg Hunt.

Penny Wars are Back - with a Twist!

PENNY WARS END ON APRIL 12! As of Wednesday, Pastor Christian has raised $53.13 and Pastor Stuart has $47.99, so it's pretty close! In the youth competition, John Lueders from St. Matthew's has $47.82 and Zack Heath from St. Paul's has $28.87. The pastor and youth who raise the highest amount will "win" the privilege of performing in front of the congregations. If we raise $1,000 total combined, our Youth Director, Craig Miller, will be involved as well! Containers are in the narthex at both churches; be sure to vote with your pennies, coins, and dollars who you want to "win" in both contests!

First Responder Appreciation Sunday

On Sunday, April 12 at each of the services, we're honoring the First Responders in our community! The call to worship, message and music will celebrate those who bless our community, and they will also receive a small gift! Please feel free to invite any first responders you know using the invitations on the narthex table. Additionally, you can use this website StPaulsLionville.org/firstresponders to send an invite via email, text or social media.

Crafters' Easter Candy

Crafters will be selling chocolate coconut and peanut butter Easter eggs for $10/box, after church services, beginning March 15. The money raised will help support their projects. Crafters meet every Wednesday at 10 am but will not be meeting on April 1.

Exton-Lionville Ministerium Hygiene Kit Project

Our local churches are very excited to offer this cooperative event to bless our community! We're collecting funds to purchase hygiene kit supplies in bulk. Then, on Saturday, May 16 at 10 am we’ll be assembling the kits. The kits will then be distributed to numerous local ministries to bless people in need in our community. If you would like to learn more, donate or sign up to help assemble the kits, please go to ELMinisterium.org!

Pop Up Thrift Sale

Our next pop up thrift store will be on Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12 from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm in the parsonage. Donations, especially of home decor items, are welcome and may be left in the airlock between the two sets of double doors

at the front of the church.

Rejoicing Spirits Service

Our next Rejoicing Spirits service will be on Sunday, April 12 at 4:00 pm. This is an informal, inclusive and adapted service open to all in the community, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, regardless of faith background. The service includes joyous music, singing and brief, meaningful, pastor-led sermons.

Musical Notes From Lindsay

March 29, 8:00 and 10:30 am Prelude:

"Ride on, King Jesus!" performed by the Jubilant Bells

The bells are BACK: Start your Palm Sunday with a Jerusalem-bound musical adventure!

Listen closely to the Jubilant Bells' performance of this beloved African-American Spiritual and you will hear moments of grand musical triumph, juxtaposed with "clomping" sounds meant to imitate the hooves of the donkey ridden by Jesus during his entrance into Jerusalem. We have been enjoying practicing it, and are excited to share this experience with everyone!

Children (and inquisitive adults) are welcome to sit near the bells during the prelude when this selection will be performed.

Don't forget you can find many of our upcoming March hymns and praise songs on the St. Paul's Spotify playlist for March 2026.

Rare Birds at Antique Ice Tool Museum

Coffee fellowship sign ups through May are now open, and there are many available slots. Please consider making coffee and providing some treats for people to enjoy after services. Sign ups are available online or in the narthex.
