St. Paul's Leadership Retreat

We like to offer a time for the leaders and members of St. Paul's to gather to talk and learn together. This year the event will be held on Sunday, June 29 after the 9:30 am service and will include lunch. The event will include time to talk about leadership, free discussion hosted by the Mutual Ministry team to share anything on your mind and also some building priorities in the coming years. Lunch will follow and then the Church Council will have their monthly meeting. Please sign up here for food planning! All are welcome, no matter your role or how long you've been at St. Paul's!!

VBS Registration Is Open!

Hello everyone! Road Trip VBS will be held July 21 - 25, 2025! We welcome students from age 4 (by 1/1/25) through 5th grade (completed 2024-2025 school year). Older students and adults are encouraged to volunteer as helpers. We are looking for station leaders at this time. If you are interested in leading crafts or snack please reach out to Leah or Cari. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the level of commitment. More information and registration information at StPaulsLionville.org/vbs. We look forward to seeing you at VBS this year!!

Youth Protection Policy Training - One Date Remaining

There will be one more Youth Protection Policy training session on Sunday, June 22 beginning at 10:45 am at St. Paul's (in person). This will likely be the last training before Vacation Bible School and our Appalachia Service Project work week, so if you need to complete training in order to participate in either of those ministries, please be sure to attend. You can sign up for training here: Youth Protection Policy Training.

Polka Worship Service

The Heidelberg Brass Band, a local German band from Denver, PA led by the Rev. Glenn Beard, Jr., will be joining us for worship on Sunday, June 29. In 2024 they celebrated the 70th anniversary of their founding. The service will feature German polkas, marches and waltzes sung to sacred lyrics. Be sure to join us for worship on this special occasion.

ASP Care Package Donations

We are looking for care package goodies to send to our ASP team while they are away in WV! Items can be cookies, brownies, hard candy, Tastykakes, simple dollar-store puzzles and games, etc. Donations must be received by Wednesday, July 9 and can be left on the office porch at St. Matthew's or in the airlock at St. Paul's. Questions? Contact Craig Miller at craigyouthmin@gmail.com.

Visioning Process Update

Stop and take a look at the Visioning Process Display found at the bottom of the curved stairway up to the second floor. The observations and suggestions from the congregation to the Visioning Team resulted in improving our mission statement to include "Invite into Fellowship" and identifying our six strategic areas: Worship, Service, Fellowship, Evangelism, Discipleship and Infrastructure. Also note on the display that the "Suggested Ideas" has been updated again. The staff, leaders and teams of St. Paul's have worked on many ideas suggested by the congregation with 36 of 63 completed or in progress in the last 18 months.

Living Love Lunches

Our next Living Love Lunches lunch packing event will be on Tuesday, June 24 at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Please join us to lend a hand! Donations of individual packages of salty snacks, granola bars, cookies, applesauce, fruit, and pudding may be left in the donation box in the narthex. Thank you for helping us feed our neighbors!

Bible Giveaway

St. Paul's is "gifting" Bibles to anyone who does not have one or would like an additional or simpler translation. The Bibles in the pews of the Sanctuary have been labeled to indicate this. Feel free to take one home for yourself or a friend.

Summer Family Fun Night

It's time to celebrate another Family Fun Night on Friday, July 11 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. These are always great events to celebrate with the congregation and the community, with free fun, food and games for all ages. We have a number of summer themed activities including outdoor games and a firepit with smores! We’ll also have crafts, hot dogs, games, face painting, ice cream, popcorn, music and we hope to have a car show and the Lionville Fire truck! The events only happen by the generosity of St. Paul's and you can offer some supplies or help on this signup! Sign up to attend at this link and be sure to share this Facebook event on your page!

Local Music Event

St. John's United Church of Christ and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church will present a special community hymn festival on Sunday, July 6 at 7:00 pm at St. John's (500 W. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446). World-renowned choral clinician, organ recitalist, and hymn festival leader Michael Burkhardt, along with area choirs, singers, and instrumentalists, will “gather in God’s name” with “people of all times and places” in songs of praise, prayer, and thanksgiving. Admission is free and individuals are invited to come early and be a part of the choir. For more information, click here.

Coffee Fellowship Help

Sharing a cup of coffee and some snacks while socializing after service is a wonderful St. Paul's tradition. We have very few volunteers for the next few months. Please help us keep the coffee and fellowship flowing by signing up online or in the narthex to make coffee and provide some goodies.
