Exton-Lionville Ministerium Hygiene Kit Project

Our local churches are very excited to offer this cooperative event to bless our community! We're collecting funds to purchase hygiene kit supplies in bulk. Then, on Saturday, May 16 at 10 am we’ll be assembling the kits. The kits will then be distributed to numerous local ministries to bless people in need in our community. If you would like to learn more, donate or sign up to help assemble the kits, please go to ELMinisterium.org!

Rejoicing Spirits Coordinator Needed

Our Rejoicing Spirits ministry is in need of a Program Coordinator for our once-a-month worship service. The position involves worship service planning, volunteer coordination, correspondence with group homes and agencies, and other administrative duties. Please consider joining St. Paul’s amazing ministry for the intellectually and developmentally disabled. More information about the position can be found by clicking here.

Please contact Pastor Stuart or Chris Robinson if interested.

If you’ve been attending St. Paul’s, we would love to welcome you as a new member this spring! New member classes will continue on Sunday evenings April 19, April 26, and May 3 from 7-8 pm as an opportunity to grow in faith, learn more about St. Paul’s and build friendships with others who are also joining. Child care will be provided. If you would like to attend or have any questions, please feel free to email PastorStuart@StPaulsLionville.org or call 610-804-1740.

Youth Car Wash Fundraiser

A YOUTH CAR WASH FUNDRAISER will be held Saturday morning, May 2 from 8:00 am to noon in the church parking lot (weather permitting). Come shop at the thrift store, and while you're browsing our youth will clean the exterior of your car to a shine! No charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.

Musical Notes From Lindsay

APRIL 19 - MUSIC TO EXPECT!

Handbells Are Back!

Both services can plan on enjoying an anthem from the Jubilant Bells, titled "Joyful Reflections". Make sure you arrive on time for the service if you want to hear them, as they will be playing the prelude at the 8am and the 10:30am services.

Traditional Service

A bit about hymn tunes....

The scripture today includes Jesus' description of the Holy Spirit, and in our Gathering Hymn "God of Tempest, God of Whirlwind," we will sing about our desire for the Holy Spirit to descend on us "as on Pentecost."

If you peek at the bottom of a hymn, you might see a tune name identified. It is not uncommon for a certain hymn tune to have more than one text setting, and for the authors of those text settings to be a different person than the composer of the hymn tune. For example, "God of Tempest, God of Whirlwind" is set to CWM RHONDDA. That same tune (CWN RHONDDA) is also used for the classic English hymn "Guide Me, O Thou Great Redeemer."

So if you've ever heard the organ play an introduction to a hymn that is very familiar to you, but when it comes time to sing and the words DO NOT match what you expect...you are most likely experiencing a case of an alternate text setting!

Contemporary Service

Gathering Song: Alleluia, Love is Alive!

Thank you so much for your willingness to try this song at our past Easter Service! We will get to sing it again as a congregation on 4/19, and I encourage you to listen to the lyric video here to get ready. I hope it is as powerful an ear worm for you as it has been for me these past few weeks!

Sending Song: House of the Lord

Another callback to our Easter service, this song was performed by the praise team as a prelude, and it will return as our sending song on 4/19. I have provided another lyric video for you to check out, and I can't wait to hear it when we all sing together! :-)

Don't forget you can find many of our upcoming March hymns and praise songs on the St. Paul's Spotify playlist for March 2026.
