Don't Miss Our Young Families Picnic This Sunday!
Hi, younger families of St. Paul's and St. Matthew's! Just a reminder that our new 'Family Faith Friends' group is having an End-of-School-Year Picnic this coming Sunday, June 8 from noon to 3:00 pm at Warwick County Park! We have Pavilion #3 booked, so we'll get together rain or shine (although the current forecast is for a beautiful Sunday - fingers crossed). All families with kids in preschool through fifth grade are invited to join us; older and younger siblings are welcome, too! There will be music, games, crafts, and other activities, as well as plenty of unstructured free time for play. It's a great way to get to know other families from both of our congregations!
This is a no-cost event, but we do ask families to bring a side dish, munchies, or a dessert to share. (Hot dogs, hamburgers, and beverages will be provided.) If you are able to join us, please sign up at this link so that we know how many are coming. I hope that you can join us for this fun social event!

St. Paul's Leadership Retreat
We like to offer a time for the leaders and members of St. Paul's to gather to talk and learn together. This year the event will be held on Sunday, June 29 after the 9:30 am service and will include lunch. The event will include time to talk about leadership, free discussion hosted by the Mutual Ministry team to share anything on your mind and also some building priorities in the coming years. Lunch will follow and then the Church Council will have their monthly meeting. Please sign up here for food planning! All are welcome, no matter your role or how long you've been at St. Paul's!!

Youth Fundraiser at Handel's Ice Cream
St. Matthew's & St. Paul's Youth Group will receive 20% of purchases at Handel's Ice Cream in Downingtown on Tuesday, June 10 from 3:00 - 9:00 pm. Look for fliers in the narthex or on our Facebook and Instagram pages and show it when ordering to help support our youth.

Youth Protection Policy Training - One Date Remaining
There will be one more Youth Protection Policy training session on Sunday, June 22 beginning at 10:45 am at St. Paul's (in person). This will likely be the last training before Vacation Bible School and our Appalachia Service Project work week, so if you need to complete training in order to participate in either of those ministries, please be sure to attend. You can sign up for training here: Youth Protection Policy Training.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Food Drive
Each year around this time we support the Chester County Food bank as they prepare summer student food boxes. These boxes help school-age children and their families receive nutritious, easy to prepare, non-perishable food during the summer vacation months. The boxes are designed to be kid friendly, containing items that children should be able to prepare with little to no adult supervision like PB&J. They are also put in the Senior Food boxes. Please add PB&J (plastic jars only, please) to your grocery run and bring them to church through Sunday, June 8. Thank you for your donations.

Sharing a cup of coffee and some snacks while socializing after service is a wonderful St. Paul's tradition. We have very few volunteers for the next few months. Please help us keep the coffee and fellowship flowing by signing up online or in the narthex to make coffee and provide some goodies.
