Food Donations For College Info Panel
This coming Sunday, January 5, as part of our special college info panel for high school students, we are having a taco bar dinner, and we are looking for donations of food and taco ingredients. If you can help, please go to this Signup Genius to indicate what you can bring. If you have a youth that is planning to attend, they can simply bring the donation with them when they get there; if not, you can drop off your donation at St. Paul's anytime between 4:30 and 5:30pm this coming Sunday, January 5. Thank you for supporting our ministry to our high school students!

Director of Youth Ministries
Craig Miller will be on leave from January 6 through February 3, 2025. As a society we are becoming very aware that taking care of one’s personal health is vital and we pray this time of rest and recharging is a blessing to Craig. During this time Pastor Stuart (and Pastor Christian) and our excellent team of adults will be leading our youth ministry. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Pastor Stuart.

Brickside Brunch for Living Love Lunches
We are partnering with Brickside Grille (in Eagleview) to raise funds for Living Love Lunches. They have a buffet brunch on Sundays from 10 am until 1:30 pm. Our designated Sunday is the first one of the month, so our next fundraising date will be Sunday, January 5, starting at 10 am.
When you present our flyer or email, Brickside will return 15% of your purchase to St. Paul’s for Living Love Lunch supplies. You must show a printed flyer or show it on your phone. Flyers can be picked up in the narthex or accessed online here.
The spread is amazing including many breakfast, lunch and seafood items. The cost is $33 which includes coffee, tea or soft drinks. Thanks in advance for taking one for the team by eating too much!!!

St. Paul's Thrift Store Accepting Donations!
St. Paul's will be hosting a pop-up thrift store the 1st week of February and we need your donations! A pop-up thrift is like an indoor garage sale. From now through January, your donated items can be placed in the designated room in the parsonage from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm on Sundays! Instead of bringing your items to Goodwill, consider donating to the sale. Household goods, toys, holiday decorations, small furniture, gently used clothing, etc. is all needed. Proceeds from the sale will be used to make repairs to the parsonage as well as be donated within the community. Please contact Jennifer Pindle with questions.

Congratulations to Daniel Ledinh!
Congratulations to Daniel Ledinh, one of our St. Paul's/St. Matthew's 11th graders, for being selected to participate in Appalachia Service Project's Youth Leadership Summit in February! Participants are chosen from a group nominated by peers and adult leaders, and will spend a long weekend in February with like-minded individuals, ASP staff, and other leaders in Jonesville, VA building leadership skills, exploring what it means to be servant-minded, and learning about advocacy issues related to Central Appalachia.

Volunteers Needed for 2026 Church Council Nominating Committee
In order to speed up the annual meeting in February, we are looking for folks to volunteer ahead of time to serve on the 2026 Church Council Nominating Committee.
The committee identifies good candidates to serve on Church Council and then asks if they are willing to serve.
It is a short term commitment in November and December 2025.
If you are interested or would like more info on what is involved, please reach out to Kyle Wiest.
