Ruidoso Flood Damage Assistance

Recent record rains and burn scars have caused severe flooding in Ruidoso and surrounding areas—damaging an estimated 200–400 homes. With monsoon season ongoing, the need for help is urgent as the community continues recovering from last year's natural disasters.

Donations

To donate to recovery efforts, visit the Community Foundation of Lincoln County: Donate Here.

Flood Buckets

Flood buckets are also greatly needed. Please visit the Welcome Center or the UMCOR website for instructions and a supply list: Flood Bucket Info.

Please drop off items in Fellowship Hall by August 15. Our missions team will handle delivery.

Thank you for your continued prayers and generosity!

There is a Place for You in a Small Group

Small Group Study:

The Turquoise Table Small Group

Leader: Karli Massey

Date: Ongoing

Time & Location

Every Other Tuesday at the Leader’s Home or Flying Star

Description of this Small Group:

The purpose of this small group is to spread hospitality throughout the church. Using the book, “The Turquoise Table” by Kristin Schell as a guide, members brainstorm new activities to create meaningful connections and build friendships through acts of hospitality.

This group formed the Supper Circles. There are three existing groups that come together for fellowship through shared meals. These circles not only strengthen relationships but also inspire collaborative efforts to bring love and joy to the church. Most recently, one Supper Circle took the lead in launching and organizing a new Church Directory to help bring our church family even closer together.

If you are interested in joining a supper group, contact Karli Massey. New members are welcome!

If you would like to connect with this group or learn more about their current study, or any other small group, please visit the Welcome Center or contact Martha Benn.
