More Sundays Together
We believe there is tremendous value in gathering as one church family! This fall, we are creating more opportunities to worship, celebrate Communion, and connect together.
On the first Sunday of October, November, and December, we will gather for one worship service at 9:30 am and celebrate Communion together. We will also have three special Whole Church Sundays to celebrate special events in the life of St. Stephen’s.
Our worship styles and traditions may be different across our three services, but our faith and church family are shared. We look forward to celebrating what makes each service special while experiencing what we gain by worshiping together.
Nursery care will be available on all Whole Church Sundays. Children’s Sunday School will be offered October 4, November 1, and December 6 in Stephen’s Place.

Sunday School Reimagined
We are excited to introduce a new Sunday morning experience for our children, giving them more opportunities to worship with their church family, connect with one another, and grow in their faith!
On three of our upcoming Whole Church Sundays (October 4, November 1, and December 6), children of all ages are invited to join us in worship for a special Children’s Moment with Pastor Damon following the Passing of the Peace.
Afterward, children may stay in worship with their families, nursery-age children may return to the nursery, or children in grades K–5 may head to Stephen’s Place for Sunday School, where they will share a Bible story and enjoy age-appropriate games and activities.
We are excited to create more opportunities for our children to worship with their church family, connect with one another, and grow in their faith!

Small Group Study: Women of the Word
Leader: Ruth Pollard
Study Title: Isaiah, The Promise of the Messiah by John MacArthur
Date: Studying this now through Advent
Time & Location: Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 am in the Small Group Resource Room
Description:
This small group is made up of a group of eight lively women, and they currently have space for new members! Please visit the Welcome Center to learn more.
Isaiah's ministry as a prophet—during the period of the divided kingdom—spanned the reigns of four Judean kings. He condemned the empty ritualism of his day and the idolatry into which the people had fallen. He foresaw the coming Babylonian captivity, and some of his prophecies were even fulfilled in his lifetime, but the literal fulfillment of his prophecies concerning Christ's first coming have given Isaiah's words their strongest vindication—and the further assurance in the prophecies of Christ's second coming.
In this study, pastor John MacArthur goes through an in-depth look at the historical backdrop to the book of Isaiah, continuing through the different prophecies and the teachings about the grace of God.
