Worship & Ministry: Fruitful Living Worship Series image

October Worship Series

Join us this Sunday as we begin our October fruit for the month in our Fruitful Living Worship Series, Gentleness. Pastor Damon will guide us through Romans 4: 1 – 12.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for (audience)? Why should they care (benefit)? What do I want them to do (call-to-action)?

Create a great offer by adding words like "free," "personalized," "complimentary," or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take action, so consider inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"

Giving Card

As we begin to plan for our 2026 budget, we are distributing our annual giving card for you to prayerfully consider what you can give to support the ministry of St. Stephen’s. My prayer is that 2026 will be a year of shared kindness in ministry to our community and world! New this year is an additional line for you to consider donating some of your time in addition to your financial commitment.

Over the next few weeks, you will be hearing from a few of our leaders here at St. Stephen’s as they share the joy in giving to God. As we all grow in our faith and discipleship, tithing is one of the disciplines we work toward. We ask that you spend your time in prayer and come to a peaceful decision on what you can do for 2026.

How to get a card: Visit the Welcome Center, take one from the back of the Worship Center, or download a PDF by selecting the image above.

When to return the card: October 19 during worship.

Again, thank you for all the ways you support St. Stephen’s, making us the church family we are! The best is yet to come because of the love of Jesus! - Pastor Damon

A Note from Martha

To my St. Stephen’s Family,

A big Thank You for making this past Sunday a very special day for me.

As I transition to the role of volunteer, I will always remember this special time as a member of the St. Stephen’s Staff.

Praise for the many cards, your good wishes, your gifts, and especially for your gifts to the Small Group Fund.

Big thanks to my Small Group that put it all together.

I look forward to this different role at St. Stephen’s as I continue to serve with each of you. -Martha Benn
