Join us this Advent season as we journey From Longing to Light. We will celebrate through meaningful worship services and special gatherings that prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming.

Our Upcoming Special Services:

Longest Night Service

Sunday, December 21 at 7:00 pm: A quiet, reflective service for those seeking peace and comfort amid the season.

Christmas Eve Services

Wednesday, December 24 at 5:00 and 7:00 pm: Celebrate the joy of Christ’s birth with candlelight and carols.

Home for the Holidays

Sunday, December 28: Online Only recorded service to enjoy from the comfort of home.

Poinsettia Sale

Honor the memory of a loved one by purchasing a memorial poinsettia. These beautiful plants will decorate the Worship Center entrance throughout the season and may be taken home after the Longest Night Service.

Cost: $20

How to Order: Visit the Welcome Center to purchase your poinsettia.

Order Deadline: Now through Friday, December 14.

In Memoriam

We remember with gratitude the life of Margaret Kurcaba, a long-time member of St. Stephen’s, who passed away on November 23, 2025 at the age of 104.

Please keep her family and friends in your prayers as they navigate this season of grief and healing.

The date and location of her memorial service will be announced as soon as they are available.

Christmas for Kids: Supporting Saranam

Thank you to everyone who has selected an ornament from our Christmas for Kids tree. We have ONE ornament remaining!

Important Reminders

Purchase gift item(s) based on the list on the ornament (please keep spending to about $25).

Keep the star ornament and attach it to your wrapped gift. This allows Saranam to provide the gifts to the correct family.

Return your gift by Wednesday, December 10, and place it in Fellowship Hall on the table labeled with the family code matching your ornament.

A Peaceful Habitation Annual Gala

St. Stephen’s has purchased a table for this year’s Gala. If you would like to attend, the cost is $55 per person. Please make checks payable to St. Stephen’s and note “APH Gala” in the memo line.

ADAC Events for December 2025

Memory Café Hosted by St. John's United Methodist Church

Memory Café is a supportive fellowship for anyone affected by memory loss/Alzheimer’s and their caring partners. It offers an opportunity to meet and share with others on a similar journey and receive information for caregivers and loved ones.

Next meeting: Saturday, December 6, from 1:30 to 3:00

Location: Sonshine Café at St. John’s United Methodist Church

What to expect: Join your friends at Memory Café Albuquerque to celebrate the Christmas season. Our entertainment is Gene Corbin on guitar! We will also have Christmas games, crafts, and snacks in a comfortable atmosphere for your loved one with memory loss.
