Staying Involved
Mark Your Calendar for the Annual Parish Meeting, Oct. 25
Please mark your calendar for the Annual Parish Meeting, Oct. 25. at 11:30 a.m. In this meeting, we'll hear updates from our parish leaders, and we'll elect our 2021 new vestry and Diocesan Council representatives.

This meeting will be held using Zoom, for the safety of our members. If you need help getting connected on Zoom, please contact the church office during the week, and we'll hook you up with one of our friendly technology volunteers.
October is Fall Maintenance Month
It's time to tidy our outdoor spaces. For our safety, we will not be gathering a large group for a single work day. Instead, we ask our members to volunteer to do specific tasks on your own schedule in October. Please contact our Junior Warden, Mark Lehnhoff, if you are willing to do any of the following:

  • Weed eat around trees - front and or back
  • Pick up loose sticks/small limbs and take to brush pile in corner of parking lot
  • Clear path stones to labyrinth
  • Pull weeds from front flowerbeds
  • Clear weeds in Grace Garden
  • Trim bushes, weed eat, sweep outdoor chapel
  • Trim low hanging branches that impede mowers
  • Weed courtyard planters
  • Trim front yaupons - about 1-1/2 ft. off each branch
  • Trim hedges at fence level next to home on Circle Way
  • Trim overhanging hedges and vines on Parish Hall side
  • Donate and spread mulch on front flower beds, (no colored mulch)
  • Blow leaves/debris out of courtyard, sidewalks, and/or parking lots
  • Trim and clear weeds from the rose garden
  • Any other project where you see a need

Some of these tasks are time-consuming, so feel free to volunteer to make progress instead of doing it all.
Join our Audio/Visual Team
We need your help to make sure our new worship offerings go smoothly. Specifically, we need a small team of volunteers who can help manage our audio visual equipment. Training will be provided on these technologies.

Videographers manage our video recordings on Wednesday evenings. In the future, we also hope to live stream our indoor worship on Sundays.

Sound Techs manage our sound systems for our Sunday services.

Please contact the office if you are interested.
Ministry Scheduling Re-Start
Starting November 1, we will be using Ministry Scheduler Pro (MSP) to schedule our volunteers. This is the same software we used pre-pandemic to manage volunteers, set schedules, send reminders, and get substitutes as needed. MSP also allows you to set your preferred worship time, and block times when you are unable to serve.

We will start with readers, videographers and sound techs.

Here's what you can do to get ready.
  1. Make sure you still have the MSP app on smartphone or tablet.
  2. Check your settings to make sure we have your correct email and phone information. (Profile>General Information).
  3. Check your settings to make sure we know which service(s) you might serve at. (Profile>Service Preferences).
  4. Contact the office if you are willing to be a reader, videographer or sound tech.
