The Chosen Discussion Group

Discovering our Faith with God’s Help

Classes Start May 8

This class is for anyone interested in being confirmed or received or just a reminder of what we believe and why, and will be taught by Pastor Robin and Benjamin Dodson. Please RSVP to contact Benjamin Dodson at 817-403-0484.* If you are interested but this class time doesn’t work for you, please let Benjamin know and we will try to work with you.

Bishop Ryan will be with us on Sunday, June 19 for Baptisms, Confirmations, Receptions.

Jones Family Memorial

TDECU Memorial Donations

Please continue to pray for God’s comfort and strength for the Hicks, Jones, Kelly, Cospeelich, Clark, and Spoon Families as they mourn the deaths of Jade and Logan Jones.

Members, Janet and Rod Hicks and their son Dustin Jones suffered a devastating loss of the lives of Jade Jones 4 and Logan Jones 2 in a home fire last Saturday. In addition to the tragic loss of the children, the house and its contents were completely destroyed by the fire.

TDECU Memorial Donations

Financial assistance is welcomed to help cover expenses and to help Dustin rebuild after loosing everything. This is what is most is needed at this time. Please give to this fund in lieu of flowers or memorial gifts to the church. Cards of condolences may be sent to the Hicks and Dustin in care of St. Timothy’s.

You can give at TDECU to the Jones Memorial Fund account number (932955800). This account will be open for donations through May 20. The handling of funds needs to go through the TDECU.

Sewing Saturday is cancelled this week.

Family Fun Play Day, May 14

The Week Ahead

Breathe & Be Better

Please join us each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for Breathe & Be Better. Cheryl will be teaching deep breathing, relaxed stretching, slow flowing movements and meditation. The class is open to everyone of all ages, at any fitness level and can be done standing or sitting down.

Silent Prayer in the Church

All are welcome to kneel and silently pray in the chapel on Wednesdays. The doors will open at 11:00 am and the last entry is at 12:00 noon.

Wednesday Compline Prayer

Compline prayer is Wednesday at 8:00pm. Consider making Wednesday night Compline a small part of your daily devotionals. You will find this on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/StTimothysLJ.

Healing Prayer Group

The Healing Prayer Group meets Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in the Welcome Center. We pray for the ministries and needs of the congregations and parish. If you have any questions, contact Char Aslakson.
