Help the Food Basket
Volunteer for Souper Bowl of Caring
Mark your calendars...

Kroger will again be supporting the Food Basket through the Souper Bowl of Caring. Kroger will package up bags of pantry staples. Volunteers are asked to stand at the store entrance and encourage shoppers to buy a Souper Bowl bag. All Souper Bowl food donations go directly to our local food pantry, the Food Basket.

We will begin in Kroger on Sunday, Jan 31 to kick this off, and conclude on Sunday Feb 12, the day of the Super Bowl. PLEASE, please consider signing up for this - it helps our pantry a great deal! We will schedule in 1-hour shifts. Shifts are 3-6 pm. Sun, Wed, Thu, Fri and 1-4 pm Sat. No heavy lifting required.

Contact Jeff and Gwen Klorer if you are interested or you have any questions. Sign-up sheets are at the back of the church.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
