No Rector's Forum Palm Sunday and Easter

Lent has comes to the Atrium
Sunday, April 14th we will present "the Last Supper" . There is no Sunday School on Easter Sunday, but gather at the end of the Hallway on Sunday, April 28th for "the Liturgy of the Light".
The children and families are encouraged to meet in Atrium 2 Room at 9:15 this coming Sunday.
Good Friday Donations
On Good Friday, offerings are invited from across The Episcopal Church to support the four dioceses in the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East. Funds are used to promote peace and mutual understanding through pastoral care, health care, and educational programs throughout the region. To learn more, visit www.episcopalchurch.org/goodfridayoffering.
Keeping Watch

Please sign up for a one-hour watch in the church from Maundy Thursday to Good Friday. It begins on Thursday, April 18th at 9:00 p.m. and goes through  April 19th at 11:00 a.m.  We would like to have an unbroken watch.
Easter Music & Flower Donations
The envelope in Sunday's bulletin should be familiar to all of you who have been at St. Timothy's through a Christmas or Easter past.   Your memories and/or thanksgivings are listed in the bulletins for Easter, and your donations help with the cost of our wonderful music and decorations. This year's deadline is April 15th. Please put envelopes in the offering plate or bring to the office.  Thank you.

Easter Egg Hunt - Help Needed
Attention EYC kids, parents, and any other parent or adult! It is time to plan for the St. Timothy's Easter Egg Hunt, which traditionally is hosted by the EYC.
We need plastic eggs and Candy Donations! Please consider buying a bag or two of NON CHOCOLATE candies to fill all of the eggs.
Lent Madness begins its move to the Golden Halo

We started with 32 saints and 3/4 of them have been cast out, hanging their halos in shame. Okay, that's not how it works - we're pretty sure the saints themselves don't actually care about our little Lenten game of learning. And each and every one of them has already received their own crown of righteousness. Nonetheless, welcome to the Elate Eight.

Who remains? Well, Zenaida joins Martha of Bethany, Photini, Ignatius of Loyola, Gobnait, John Chrysostom, William Wilberforce, and Pandita Ramabai. One of these remaining eight will be awarded the coveted 2019 Golden Halo. Cast your vote today!

Sewing accomplishments, and a new project!

We have had a wonderful group of energetic sewers for our Uganda sanitary kit items.  We will have between 85-100 kits to send with Fr. Brendan on this year's trip! This will go a long way to keeping these young women in school.

If you have any items made up for this project, please drop them off on the table behind the name tags by the end of April, so we can pack it all up.

STILL NEEDED:  Washcloths (please no white), and gallon Ziploc bags.

We have decided on our next sewing project!  The elementary school nurses need simple elastic waist shorts for the younger kids.  Our next sewing days will be May 11 and 12.
Contact Sondra Griner for more information.
The Food Basket

April 6 update:   As I carried bags of food to my car I knew we were donating a lot, but I did not expect to weigh 140.32 pounds! I love that you all made me do my weight training today! Needs are: canned chicken, oatmeal baby food, small bottles of cooking oil, and feminine hygiene products. Grocery bags are in dire need. We do not need tuna or canned beans. Make me work again this week, please

The Orchard and Community Garden  Needs Your Help!
The Food Basket is looking for the following items to have onsite when they have work teams come to volunteer in the orchard & garden areas.  If you have any of these items you would like to donate or purchase, please bring them to The Food Basket or contact Lisa Owsley @ 979-388-0024.
This list has been updated as of 4/9/2019
Grace Garden

As I rested in the Grace Garden, I thought of the many people who made it possible: Sharon and Mel McKey, Bob and Terry Ziegler, John Pitts,  Andy Parker , Jean Webb, Bo Smith, Greg David, the ARM and so many others who helped turn a muddy area into a place of meditation and beauty. Denis James is adding colorful flowering plants and so many work together to keep the space beautiful and peaceful. The Garden was totally financed by those who have niches there. Thank you everyone for your support.
